BTW, was it a good "OMG" or a bad "OMG" ... ?

Good OMG == OMG, someone in Australia is interested in the PC-02 ... or
Bad OMG == OMG, this Australian is butchering the poor PC-02

I wonder if the one I have has had some parts stripped.

There's a distinct lack of decoupling caps (although I know they were judicious in their use in Soviet era), and I see a lot of "bare legs" where a component was but has been snipped off.

And near the video output there appears to be missing transistors ... sets of three bare legs.

It's double good OMG.
1: someone in Australia is interested in the PC-02
2: PC-02 was some kind of "mystery" PC. There was some information about it, but no real hardware.

So, I'm so sorry, but I couldn't help you with documentation and/or schemes.

The only one important note to avoid mess.

There are two different meaning for "PC-02"

1. Original PC-02 Mukachevo was developed at the end of USSR period. And only small testing batch was released at factory in Mukachevo.

2. PC-02 Lviv is the amateur upgrade for PC-01 Lviv. Processor replacement to Z80, extended memory (128/256/512), AY sound chip.

Ahhhh! All good. I've had discussions on Telegram group too ... UCHC "Ukrainian Computing History Community" ... they had boot screen on a working one and it showed ... PC-02 "KIEV" ... and running BASIC 2.1.

They also had pictures of my missing components. It looks like mostly it is the decoupling caps (assuming 100nF) that are missing - so I have started replacing those.

There are also some missing components near the video output ... but luckily they should only be for the cassette interface, so I can ignore for now (УД6Б and АОТ110).

Once I've put the decoupling caps back, I will try to boot again and see if I have more success! I'll let you know!
